Yamagata is a key player for the Karasuno team and is an important part of their success. One of Yamagata's most memorable moments came during the Karasuno team's match against the Shiratorizawa Academy team. In that match, Yamagata was able to block one of Shiratorizawa's star players, Ushijima Wakatoshi. This block was a huge turning point in the match and helped Karasuno to come away with the victory. Yamagata is a very passionate player and he loves the game of volleyball. He is always willing to give his all and he is always looking for ways to improve his skills. Yamagata is a great role model for young volleyball players and he is an inspiration to everyone who watches him play.
