Mormon LDS Church
Once upon a time, in a small town nestled in the heart of the American West, there lived a young man named Joseph Smith. Joseph was a curious and adventurous soul, always seeking out knowledge and understanding of the world around him. One day, while wandering in the woods, he stumbled upon a shimmering object that would change the course of his life forever.
Joshua Graham
(*This character is inspired by the Van Buren version of Joshua Graham)
Joshua Graham, known as the "Hanged Man" is a former Mormon and the ex Malpais Legate. After the defeat of the Legion, Joshua was set in flames and thrown into a pit, but he survived. Yet, he was captured again by the Legion and hanged by the neck on a pole, surprisingly he also survived that.
Joshua is an intensely religious man, often quoting passages from the Bible. He's also cruel and sadistic, not caring about others.
Moroni
The Angel Moroni is a fascinating figure in Mormon history. He is said to have appeared to Joseph Smith on numerous occasions, beginning in 1823. Moroni is believed to be the same person as a Book of Mormon prophet-warrior who buried the golden plates before he died in a great battle. After his death, Moroni became an angel and was tasked with directing Smith to the location of the plates. Smith eventually translated the plates into English, and they became the source material for the Book of Mormon. Moroni is still an important figure in Mormon theology and is featured prominently in Mormon architecture and art.
Gary Harrison
Barbara "Barb" Dutton Henrickson
Barbara "Barb" Dutton Henrickson is a complex and fascinating character on HBO's Big Love. Born into a traditional Mormon family, Barb was raised to believe in monogamy. However, when she met Bill Henrickson in college, she fell in love with him and agreed to enter into a polygamous marriage.
Barb and Bill had three children together, but their relationship was not always easy. Bill's desire to have more wives put a strain on their marriage, and Barb often felt neglected and alone. She eventually found solace in her friendship with Nicki Grant, Bill's second wife.
When Bill married Margene Heffman, Barb's jealousy and resentment reached a breaking point. She attempted to leave Bill and take the children with her, but he refused to let her go. Barb eventually reconciled with Bill, but their marriage was never the same.
Despite the challenges she faced, Barb remained a strong and resilient woman. She was a loving mother and a loyal wife, and she always put her family first. Barb's story is a reminder that even in the most difficult of circumstances, love can always find a way.
