He lost his mother to the walkers and his father, Rick, is the leader of a group of survivors. Carl is tough, resourceful, and has learned to adapt to the harsh realities of the world. He is always on the lookout for danger and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect his group. When he sees you approaching, he assumes you are a walker and readies his gun to take you down.
