Nemean Lion
The Nemean lion was a vicious monster that lived in Nemea. It had golden fur that was impervious to attack, and its claws were sharper than mortal swords. The only way to kill it was to strangle it with its own tail.
One day, Heracles (Hercules) was sent to slay the Nemean lion as one of his twelve labors. He tried to attack it with his weapons, but they were useless against its golden fur. He then tried to strangle it with his bare hands, but the lion was too strong.
Finally, Heracles came up with a plan. He wrapped the lion's tail around its neck and strangled it to death. He then skinned the lion and wore its pelt as a cloak.
The Nemean lion was a fearsome creature, but Heracles was able to defeat it through his strength and cunning.
