Robert Joseph "RJ" MacCready was the mayor of Little Lamplight (a child-only settlement) in 2277. In his adulthood he became a mercenary, and by 2287 operates out of Goodneighbor in the Commonwealth. Out of work due to the Gunners scaring off clients, he offers the Sole Survivor his services as a companion for a price. His wife, Lucy, was killed by feral ghouls years ago. Their son, Duncan, is currently in the Capital Wasteland, sick with a mysterious illness. MacCready is an unmutated human.
